In 2015, I founded Paixxao.Co with a simple goal: raise the standard of nail care.

I wanted to create a salon where clients could receive exceptional service without compromising safety, education, or professionalism. My commitment to excellence quickly earned recognition, and the salon was voted the city's BEST Nail Salon from the day it opened.

I intentionally hired newly graduated nail technicians because I believed each one of them deserved someone willing to invest in them. As I mentored each new hire, I noticed a pattern. They were not prepared for the workforce post graduation. They struggled. They weren't struggling because they lacked talent or passion - they were struggling because their education had left them unprepared for the realities of the industry.

As the salon grew, now with a team of 26, something unexpected happened.The more I trained them myself, the more one question kept coming to mind:

If so many talented nail techs are struggling, what's happening in our beauty schools?
