Most people who have had a bad manicure will search until they find a new salon to get their nails done. But I'm not most people. I was so put off by the bad services I was getting at local salons that I decided to get my license and do my own nails. This was over a decade ago.

But, after I graduated, I recognized a massive problem in the nail industry; local nail techs didn't like sharing information about what helped them succeed.

After being turned away and ignored by several nail techs in town, I felt hopeless and out of place.

Because of this experience, my passion for nails became a full fledged dedication to helping graduating beauty school students. In 2016 I opened my salon, Paixxao.Co and it quickly earned the "Best Of The City" award and maintained that status for years. Today, Paixxão.Co has expanded to two locations and in 2024 I also launched the only Nail Technology school in the state, Diamond Nail Tech Academy.

Let me just say this, "I hate the way nail techs are treated in this industry. Hundreds are convinced to take a full cosmetology courses that can take up to a year and a half to finish. Later to find out that the most nail training they'll get is 2-6 weeks tops. Nail techs are graduating ill-prepared to succeed as a professional and sadly they quit before they realize how far they could have gotten with the right training."

Where will the bootcamps take place?

The following bootcamps will be held at Diamond Nail Tech Academy, located in the heart of Abq:

How long are the bootcamps?

Bootcamps vary from one to two days usually on Thursdays and Fridays. Depending on what you're learning the times of each Bootcamp will change.

Will I be provided with a kit, tools, or learning material?

Yes! Included with your purchase is a workbook packed with information to help you master your craft. You will also get a kit and/or gift for each day of training.

*VERY IMPORTANT - Please bring your own e-file. This will allow me to monitor its performance, suggest proper use and/or make recommendations for top industry e-files listed at a reasonable price.

Do I need to be a licensed nail tech to attend?

If you're licensed, good! If not, that's ok too, you just have to show that you are currently registered in a local beauty school and have plans to obtain your license. This training is designed to help you master your craft at any stage of your career.
